St. Patrick Day Cards

I have tried to find some old St. Patrick Day cards, and finally I found some that  are both public domain and funny or beautiful. You will find a lot of them below.

I have used quite a long time restoring them, so please only use them for personal purpose.

I have also made quite a few new St. Patrick Day Cards out of different clip art, and I hope you will like them. Of course the thing with only using the cards for your own personal use goes for these as well.

You can also make your own cards out of clip art and pictures. I have used clip art from a website I use a lot, Clipartqueen.com.

When you find a card you like, click it (or right click it) to come to the larger and higher quality version, better for printing.
Of course, if you are using the card as a greeting on you cell phone or on the internet, just use the version you find here on this page, it will be quite sufficient.

A very cute St. Patrick’s Day owl with the wish for luck and good health!

This card has the text: Happy St. Patrick’s Day ! and the St. Patrick’s day lyrics:

“Here’s to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one
A pretty girl and an honest one
A cold beer – and another one!”

It is illustrated with https://www.traditionrolex.com/11a shamrock and a leprechaun drinking beer.

Here is another St. Patrick’s Day free card with a wish and a cute bunny:

A very cute printable St. Patrick’s Day card, with a leprechaun holding a balloon, with the text: Kiss me I’m Irish.

Another card for St. Patrick’s Day, with shamrocks and cute leprechauns. The St. Patrick’s day greeting says:

“May you always walk in sunshine
May you never want for more
May Irish angels rest their wings
right beside your door.”

A card with the text: Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

May your day be touched with a bit of Irish luck!

Here comes a St. Patrick’s Day greeting card with a Leprechaun gnome holding a golden horse shoe:

The next card has the text:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and has shamrocks and a rainbow as illustration.

The next card is illustrated with one shamrock, and one of the most beautiful St. Patrick’s day lyrics:

“For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way –
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day”

A very cute St. Patrick’s Day card, with a tiny bunny , and a wish.

A St. Patrick’s Day card with a funny owl and shamrocks

The last of these original cards is illustrated with a very happy, dancing leprechaun, and has the text:

“Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go (Irish blessing)”

Now comes some old vintage St. Patrick’s cards.

This first card of the printable St. Patrick’s day cards has no text,
but two cute cupids carrying two shamrocks.

Here you find a card with the one of the older Irish St. Patrick’s day lyrics:

“From the Ould Sod, St. Patrick’s Day Greeting.

Oh! steer my bark To Erin Isle
For Erin is my home.”

Illustration is a small girl with flower basket.

Well, this card is actually a Valentine card,
but it is so Irish that I also wanted to present it here:

If you don’t find here what you are looking for, I can recommend this other site with free St. Patrick’s Day Cards.
But look below to see some more beautifully restored (and changed a little) postcards with the motive for St. Patrick’s Day.

“Here’s wishing you a bright and happy St. Patrick’s Day” is the text on this card with a little girl calling you with that message on 17. March.

Yet another little girl dressed in green, with a basket full of shamrocks, and even shamrocks painted on her dress.

The text is “The Wearing of the Green”.

A printable St. Patrick’s day card with an old Irish poem:

“Oh, the shamrock,
the green, immortal shamrock!
Chosen leaf of Bard and Chief.
Old Erin’s native shamrock.”

And finally, at least for now, this card, with an Irish boy or maybe an Irish fairy (he seems quite small, compared to the shamrocks?) and two shamrocks.

The card wishes you Good Fortune on St. Patrick’s Day.
